Slowly ten years ago, due to a health problem, I had to stay home for almost a month. Then a childhood dream arose in me to make a H0 scale railway diorama
I spent with that all my free time.
Like almost every beginner, at first anything I made it seemed very lifelike and I was delighted with every detail I managed to work out. But always the second attempt succeeded to the right, the next one even better. I found the previous trial ridiculously rudimentary and I no longer mounted it on the layout I started.
So, of course, it seemed like an inconvenient endeavor to finish what I started. It was also valid
for other accessories, but mostly for trees. This is especially true for pine trees.
Pine trees have always been my favorite in nature. Their uprightness, their evergreen foliage, and their sublime look earned my respect.
However, it turned out that I did not observe them in their details and I did not study them scientifically. I realized that realistic modeling of vegetation is no easy task.
Of course, with a lot of experimentation and practice you can learn, it only takes a lot of time
Within this, the making of pine trees is particularly complicated.
Many modelers have given up on their intentions after a few less successful attempts, to make a realistic pine tree. However, I was motivated by the complexity of the task.
First of all, I took the time to observe them, to study them, and I thought a lot about the manufacturing techniques, so that the final result would be as close as possible to reality in terms of both details and, of course, scale.
All this led to the present result, but knowing myself, I don't stop working here and I constantly try new materials, put new ideas into practice, develop techniques for carrying out the details.
